Hi, Isabel. First of all, sorry I haven't been seen in these parts recently - life has been particular busy of late, and my blog commenting has shrunk from hardly any to nearly none.
To answer the question you asked me, yes, I would definitely consider "From the Files" to be speculative poetry, and in fact it's comfortably "over the line" in that regard: the reference to the 6th sense would clinch that for me. It's a very good poem, too!
